Netflare Invites HBN Members to attend the first in a new series of Jumpsite Marketing Workshops
As you know, the internet is becoming accepted as the stardard communications medium for our
businesses. Did you know that in the UK alone £2.01bn was spent on online advertising last year
compared to £1.9bn spent on advertising in national newspapers (source: news.bbc.co.uk)?
Traditional ways of getting your message across are still available, but their effectiveness is

We recently commissioned Cambridge Resolution to perform market research to investigate the
effective use of websites by small but growing companies. We found that 23% of sites have never
been updated since their launch. If the site has been updated, the average time between revisions
is ten months. So the content of many sites is inaccurate - if not obsolete.
What we have found is the main reason small businesses have poor websites is because they don't
believe they have the necessary skills to put pen to paper and write effectively.
