EFFECTS OF MAGNETISM ON GAS CONSUMPTION

Tests were conducted on two houses, A & B; both houses were set up in the following fashion: Boiler gas pressure 8mbar.Boiler thermostat at level 3.Frost thermostat at 5C.Internal thermostat at 20C.All radiator thermostats set to the same temperature.

The test was conducted over a two week period monitoring daily gas consumption in the two properties with a magnet being attached to house B to see what effect this would have from an energy conservation prospective, see table of results supplied.

From the test results obtained it can be seen that the gas consumption in the property that had the magnet fitted to the incoming gas pipe of the boiler was substantially reduced. As this item would be a one time purchase and is maintenance free, it would appear that it would pay for itself in a short period of time and continue to do so in perpetuity.

This effect is not restricted to a domestic application, it can be applied to an industrial environment, with simple calculation of one magnet equal to 40KW heat input a 200KW boiler would need five magnets, etc.

Conclusion:I can see no drawbacks from installation of these devices as there are no detrimental effects, no maintenance costs, negligible installation costs; they reduce greenhouse gases and reduce gas consumption.
