The HBN, FSB and Huntingdonshire Chamber of Commerce have agreed to form the Huntingdonshire Business Group.

As the three major local business membership organisations, speaking as a single voice will be far more effective than speaking separately when lobbying to protect and promote local business interests. Although each organisation is still free to express its own views, the intention is that we consult and agree an approach to any given issue.

This means that as well as promoting the HBN view ourselves, we can also now engage the support of the other two groups when we need to make a bigger impact.

The initial meeting resulted in agreement, subject to ratification by our respective memberships, to form an association to be known as the 'Huntingdonshire Business Group', the principle purpose being to act as a lobby group looking to the interests of the Huntingdonshire business community.
