UHY George Hay are celebrating the admission of two new partners to the practice on 1st May, Toni Hunter of the firm’s Huntingdon office and Tony Newman who is based at the Biggleswade office.

Toni Hunter joined the practice in 1997 before qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2001. She has become the first female partner of UHY George Hay, giving now eight partners across four offices. Toni advises clients of all sizes and specialises in audit particularly of Financial Services clients and Charities. She has been actively involved in the local business community around Huntingdon and is currently chair of Huntingdonshire Business Network. 

Tony Newman who is a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant, joined UHY George Hay 20 years ago and has for a number of years been managing director of their associated business GH Online Accounting Limited, providing comprehensive outsourced payroll, bookkeeping and management accounts services to all sizes of business. Tony has been instrumental in developing this side of the business which has gone from strength to strength.  Tony also provides specialist management accounting services which clients find invaluable when monitoring their business performance.
